“What’s the Difference?”
Come down to the Adult Education room and we’ll look at the differences between Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and Christianity.
Sundays, July 23, 30, August 6, 13 We’ll look in-depth at
“Discerning the Will of God For your Life”. The study is from 9:15-9:50 in the adult education room downstairs. We’ll see how God uses other people, difficult circumstances, the Bible, prayer, to help us make important decisions. This study is designed to help make decisions easier for you.

Our choir director, Marta Eenhuis, set up a cross display on the alter for Maundy Thursday worship. Three crosses are backlit to project shadows on the chancel ceiling. Following is a poem that Marta has written to help us to focus on the sacrifices of our Lord

Thank you to Lutheran Church of Hope-Local Clear Lake Middle School Youth who delivered the Souper Bowl Donations!! They split donations between the Clear Lake Ventura Pantry & Helping Hands Pantry.
Also a BIG THANK YOU to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, IFCA (Independent Fundamental Churches of America) and the Evening Lions for their financial contributions as well.
