About Us

As you entered today you pass beneath the “Servants Entrance” sign because as a church family, we are called to serve Jesus and share His love.

We’re casual and informal, so please make yourself at home with a cup of locally brewed Cabin Coffee at our new coffee bar. Bathrooms are just down the hall towards the office.

Children are invited to hear the first part of the service which includes a Children’s Sermon. Afterwards, kids may head off to Sunday School or a staffed nursery, but also please know they are welcome to worship with you. The presence of children is a gift to First Congregational and they are a reminder that our church is growing.

Wouldn’t It be Great If?

The Pastor is the One Teaches Bible Studies…

The Pastor was a Teacher Before Earning His Master’s degree in Theological Studies…

The Pastor also has been trained as a Coach…

“The Bible gives us answers to daily living,” says Pastor Seri.  Sermons are typically on topics such as “Overcoming Worry” or “How to Handle Daily Frustrations” but are based directly from the Bible.  Sermons are typically 20 minutes and also are available here. Communion is served the first Sunday of every month.
Sunday School for grades
Preschool through 5th
grade
from 10:15-11 a.m.

What We Believe At
First Congregational Church
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God written.

THE TRINITY
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and is the means to attaining eternal salvation.

REDEMPTION
We believe that, for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a godly life in this present world.

THE RESURRECTION
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

SPIRITUAL UNITY
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.

THE CHURCH
We believe that the Church, composed of true believers, is that Body of Christ on earth, and that Jesus Christ is the sole Head of the Church.

THE TWO SACRAMENTS
We believe there are two sacraments to be shared among God’s people on the basis of faith and obedience, these two sacraments being:
1. Lord’s Supper
2. Baptism
